Not sure how people think Tiger hasn't got a chance to break Jack's record. Just think about Koepka. He has won 3 majors in the last 2 years. And what's funny is that he has won nothing else of note! He's like a club bandit who gets nothing but .1s throughout the year and then turns up for his majors.

If Tiger can stay fit, he could easily play a reduced schedule for another 5 years. He most certainly has a chance.

His age is still a problem, how many people dominate golf past the age of 45?

There's only been 5 major winners EVER past that age in the entire history of the sport. Hale Irwin in 1990 was the last one.

Yeah he could, but he has a small window and he probably needs to win another major within the next 2 years at the minimum.

The round of the day yesterday was -5? Compared to Saturday it was a low scoring day. The conditions were difficult. He was 3 under going down the last and just went for bogey because he knew he had a two shot cushion. He was surrounded by top class players and he beat them. It was very impressive. Majors are very hard to win, I think he'll win 2 more.

Haven't you heard though? It was a pure fluke according to some

It will come down to his appetite and health but golfers and sports persons generally are far fitter and more health conscious that bygone eras.

I think he will either do it or this one was just one last hurrah.

Most golfers after winning a few majors are happy to ride off into the sunset with that and just play for the fun of it.

Will he get a second wind? Who knows.

True, but that doesn't apply to Woods. He's been after Nicklaus's record from day one. The only question now is whether he still has that appetite at 43 after all he's been through. Judging him on the past 12 months suggests he does. He's won every major at least three times, yet not once has he appeared satisfied or happy with what he's already achieved. Only when/if he hits 19 will that be the case imo.
