Hi everyone, I'm looking for recommendations on good quality clothing websites especially those that use material like cotton, wool rather than polyester etc

    Any suggestions?

I love Fat Face. They can be expensive but they have regular sales and their clothes last practically forever. I find the UK site works out cheaper than the Irish one, last year I saved a fortune buying a jacket on the UK site.

    What's the return policy

    Arket for quality.

Uniqlo for practicality. Their chepo wool jumpers are great. Uniqlo u does great t shirts. I also like uniqlo u jeans but hate their main line.

I got some jumpers from Komodo this year and I really like them.

I also heard good things about Everlane but never tried them.

Ethical clothing brand, I have some Bamboo fabric tshirts from here that are very comfy and have worn really well.

You can search by fabric here.

Also, you might find this handy.. some of the retailers use codes on the clothing, this is the reference guide.

Next.ie has great customer service and return policies. There's a good mix of crap but also decent quality cotton things. I don't like going into their shops, but very good online shopping experience.

Shopping for clothes online is the norm nowadays, but I feel you on struggling to find stuff actually in style! For 2024, trends are looking super comfy yet conscious. Suiting and monochromatic earth tones are making a major comeback - we're talking relaxed fits, soft fabrics, lots of linen and cotton. Sites like Verishop and Everlane have options that'll make getting dressed for work way cozier.

And how cool are the 2024 streetwear looks with unexpected hardware and padlocks?! It adds serious edge to basic pieces. Shein and Zara have affordable, trendy plus-size clothes and accessories to recreate that grunge-inspired vibe. Overall, fashion in 2024 seems focused on textures that feel good and versatile pieces that can be dressed up or down. The sustainability factor is big too! Whether online or in stores, we can make thoughtful choices while still expressing our personal style. Let me know if you want any other tips for low-key, friendlier shopping this coming year!

What might help you is style solutions.ie (no connections to the site). For €39 a year you get a monthly email with what's in the shops (for all shapes and sizes), then 10 days later there's one doing mix and match with stuff from the email and how to accessorise etc. I was sceptical but am a total convert after the January emails. I never buy trousers or jeans online but took the advice and got some fab ones in a high street store I'd never buy from. Really impressed.
