Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    These two bodies are on the list of Gov't qunagos to be abolished, or are in the procees of being abolished

    The article lists 45 that will be done away with, and 35 new ones that will be created. Scanning the list of new quangos, I can't see any obvious names where these two will be moved into. The Valuation Office surely has to be retained but maybe the Placenames Commission will be completely done away with?

    Placesnames Commission into the "Single Council of Science and Humanities"?
    Valuation Office into "Housing and Sustainable Communities Agency"?
