Argentina, why does this keep happening?

Maybe I'm way off the mark but it seems like Argentina seems to always be on the brink or recovering from being on the brink. They're put interest rates up to 60% and from what I can tell the Peso has depreciated against the Dollar but about 90% in the last 10 years. Is there some kind of structural deficit that continually leads to these issues re-occurring?

It's not always for the same reason but printing money and extravagant public spending are recurring themes.

In previous busts commodity prices, war and corruption figured.
