Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Recommendations on bars in Dungarvan

    Hello Everyone,

    Im organising a Hen party and am looking for some recommendations on bars. Is there anywhere which would play rock music, not a deal breaker but would be nice.

    Loads of great pubs in Dungarvan, really good spot for a hen or a stag.

    for Rock music you'd really be looking at The Anchor, a kind of disco bar.

    but The Moorings & Merry's usually have a guy playing live music on weekends, covers of popular stuff & great for a dance or a sing-a-long.

    Maisies is a lovely gin bar in the town too.

    As comeraghs says, lots of nice bars, but rock music is lacking a bit.

    I wouldn't describe Anchor's Saturday night music as rock at all
    Merry's, moorings will have a guy playing standard pub fare on acoustic guitar.

    Downey's was always the 'alternative' music spot in town, but if you want rock music you'll have to stick it on the jukebox.

    Very occasionally Downeys, Enterprise, might have a local covers band playing, so keep an eye on Facebook.
