Irish Championship Tipping Competition

Yes folks it's back. The reigning champion is Retd Capt Loyola while the holder of the wooden spoon is Tim Harding. Both are favourites to retail their titles.
This year the scoring is slightly different, to discourage too much safety play.

Each tipster gets three predictions each day.

1 point for correctly predicting a win by a higher rated player

3 pts for a draw

6 pts if you predict a win by the lower rated player.

Now for the landmines If you predict a win by a higher rated player and he loses you lose 6 pts and if you predict a draw that ends up in a win for the lower rated player you lose 3pts. If you predict a win by a lower rated player and he draws you lose 1 point

Hopefully someone who isn't playing in the championship will keep a tally of the scores.
Each tipster is asked to also predict who they think will win the Irish Ch and who will be second and third so that this can be used in the event of a tiebreak.
