Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Holiday Homes in Ireland for one week - where to book?

    Are there any alternatives to Airbnb to stay in a house/apartment for 1 or 2 weeks?

    Daft have a holiday homes section but quite a lot of the homes I'm looking at are provided by Five Star International (https://www.daft.ie/galway/estate-agents/galway-city/5star/). Has anyone booked with them before?

    If anyone has any other recommended sites or places to book that'd be great if you can let me know. I'm looking to head to Wexford or near abouts, but fairly open to trying any county on the coast. Thanks!

    I used https://www.shamrockcottages.co.uk/ for my week away - haven't been yet but it was all very smooth sailing with the booking and the contact from them!

    Dream ireland seem to have a good selection. Trident holiday homes have a few too.
    I don’t know what the story is with five star international. I came across loads of their listings on daft when I was holiday home hunting but no information regarding actual price or availability of the houses. Seemed too good to be true.

    Supervalu get away breaks also worth a look but the value is nowhere near as good as it once was.
