How did you get it shipped.

Boyds posted it and you will get hit for import duties, paid $77 instead of $140 think it cost €180 in total including postage and duties to my door but if it was full price they would not have been able to post it.

Is it anything <$100 can be posted from USA without additional paperwork?

As far as I know yes. If it's $100 or over ITTAR kicks in and they need an export licence.
Saying that optics planet sent me a monopod last week that was over the $100 without issue.

Remember that INCLUDES the shipping&handling charges. So get it shipped on the cheapest of the cheap if you are close to the 100 usd mark.
Intrestingly,it doesnt apply to optics or NV equipment .

    .

Some companies already pay for export so it's covered regardless of the price. I've done many times with Brownells and other companies. However some companies like Boyds won't pay the export fee.

For a company they can pay a large yearly fee so it's not a case of each sale requiring it's own export license. Some companies pay this fee and will ship internationally, others don't and cannot. Boyds is the latter.

My last order from Brownells USA was over $400. Arrived 10 days after i ordered it. Excellent service.

Another company had an adaptor i wanted for $60. Including shipping it came to $85, but they didn't have the export permit, didn't want the hassle of doing individual ones, so would not ship. Ended up paying twice the amount for an EU supplier.

There not great. good at looking at birds in the garden, but with any zoom the eye box is almost unusable.
The Minox Dmax are a great scope to start off with. i think around 120 euro

Just bought one. Plenty of good reviews of the Maginon ón Youtube.

At that price, half of what it is on Amazon, it's a steal.

It's extremely solid, the tripod is quite good. The rubber lens cap is a bit loose however.

Nice bit of kit for €35

Beretta are having a one night sale. Between 15 to 55% off selected items. Most prices are marked on the website, but use the code SCARY at checkout for free shipping and a possible 30% off sale prices. Apparently the extra 30% applies to items marked with a halloween banner so be careful what you select.
