What % of An Garda's time is now taken up with online complaints.

Are An Garda equipped to handle these complaints.

IT is something that AGS has been behind in for years now.

Access to the general internet is restricted for most public servants and I have no doubt the same probably applies to AGS - investigating complaints relating to social media harassment must feel like having one hand tied behind your back by the state.

I think modernisation and accountability is going to offset the increased numbers of gardaí too, especially as paperwork has increased substantially in the last five years so many will be away from patrolling trying to keep on top of things.
