Terrible break off from Maguire this morning, gifting Ronnie this break. I hope Maguire can hold it together and rid the tournament of O'Sullivan.

OSullivans safety and cue ball control look good this morning which is usually a sign he’s right on his game.

    Kiss of death of course!

Can't understand people who want to see the most talented player of all time knocked out of the biggest tournament

It's not good for the sport as someone said above, more eyes on the sport is good and Ronnie brings that. Yeah he's whingin and threatening to retire is boring, but just watch the man, will miss him when he does go

Feel a bit sorry for guys who can’t watch him and appreciate the talent while it is still there. You don’t even have to like the chap to do that surely. Anyway, each to their own and all that.

Jaysus that was something else. Really hope he doesn't go out.

Yeah Maguire got a kick but still no excuse for then missing the pot. Didn’t have to worry about position. Bottled it.

Most naturally talented, maybe. Definitely not the greatest player.

Terrible kick for Maguire just now. Probably gonna cost him the frame. The same thing happened yesterday when he was 4-0 up and would have gone 5 up. Maguire isn't playing that well today.

Should of played the snooker there.

Bonkers. Take the cue off him.

    Ridiculous taking that yellow.

Terrific red, but bad decision on the colour. He's handed Ronnie the frame. He's not thinking right at all.

Did I say greatest player or most talented player??

Got frustrated cos he didn’t get proper position and head explodes. No need to wonder why Maguire never fulfilled his huge talent.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,953 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

    Everything's going Ronnie's way.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Fabulous frame this. Has had everything.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

    Why so hard!!! Jeez...

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,953 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Unbelievable. Ronnie's got out of jail. Why did Maguire whack the pink?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,632 ✭✭✭deafroadrunner

Ah jaysus. I can't see Maguire winning any frames today.

He'll be gutted, especially after everything that happened in the last frame.

Fear for him now alright. Just shows you how this arena punishes mental frailty. Why we love it so much I guess.

Even when Ronnie misses a shot, he gets all the luck.

The fact that Mag had all the luck he needed to win the last frame is neither here nor there I guess

Thank F that kick wasn't costly this time.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,632 ✭✭✭deafroadrunner

He done well to win that frame after that kick. I still don't think he can beat Ronnie.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,023 ✭✭✭✭Joe_ Public

Dunno whether it’s the chalk or something else but not noticing a lot of kicks in general, maybe something Maguire needs to look at.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,953 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

That was a terrific safety from Maguire.

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,953 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

    What? Ronnie lucky again? Never!

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,953 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Maguire should have played on. It was only 6 points needed in snookers.

    What was Maguire thinking there?
