Would love help with this.....we can't decide on a honeymoon. We have narrowed it a bit down to Lake Garda, Dubrovnik, Portugal or Majorca. But we want somewhere real modern luxury. Carribean area is out due to time of yeae/weather. What would Portugal be like for honeymoon?

What bout South East Asia Thailand Vietnam etc but you would really need 3 weeks to get the most. Weather wise this is the high Season little to no rain and blue skies with less humidity though the heat will still intense.

Don't think we would be into Asia or Thailand.

Hotel in Majorca is lovely. Would love somewhere close to beach and bars/restaurants

I've been to Lake Garda a few times and it's beautiful. There is a theme park called Gardaland and a water park if you get bored with the sights. As far as I remember prices are not unlike Ireland.

Portugal is cheaper with less to do but if you just want sun in the days & food & drink at night it's a good option.

I think you'll remember Lake Garda more in years to come

We wouldn't really big into sight seeing too much. Like the idea of water parks, mini golf, aquarium etc. We do want time to relax too cos we know we will be wreaked after the wedding

We are worried with lake Garda that we will miss the beach

In a similar boat to OP but we are looking further afield. After reading up though is a Phuket/Hanoi kind of trip dodgy weatherwise? Looking to go for 3 weeks at beginning of June and are still going through other possibilities so we aren't 100% set on that option
