I believe you were the winner of the last Thurles outing. How could I ever forget shooting 43 points and only getting 2nd place!

Nearly the last time i won an outing!

There was a few 40+ points in that day! Course was playing easy enough though. I'll have a look for the thread now and see.

    43 Won
    43 second
    41 third
    39 fourth
    36 fifth.

I feel the same as Charlie. Was hoping to make the jug on merit this year having not played in it previously but looks like I need to try make the next 4 outings and place well!

I have just booked 7 twin rooms in Hotel Killarney for captains night. €65 per person. I have them booked with free cancellation 3 days beforehand. But I'm not planning on leaving it that close. Please let me know if you want to avail of a bed and if there is anyone in particular you fancy sharing with.

It's a decent hotel, we stayed in it last time. It's a little out of town, but not that bad 2km so you could walk in 20 mins or 5 mins in a taxi. Closer hotels were either full up or €90+

    Breakfast included.

Also, anyone going down on Friday? No rooms booked yet, just Saturday for now

I don't think that 5 mins in a taxi applies to Benny. Also I've a park bench reserved for Tiger

If you get to Kerry early enough then there is usually an open in Beaufort, just outside Killarney on the Killorglin side. Never played it but supposed to be half decent.

Good stuff. Might play it myself if I can get down early enough.

Another option would be open singles on in Dromoland every Friday. We played there few years ago before Captains in Killarney.
