    It depends. My partner lost his licence due to drink driving years ago. He finally is back on the road and sober a year and a half but his insurance is very high. He didn't have any problem getting insurance but the costs are huge anyway. After a certain amount of years I think a dui isn't counted if you've been off the road. Best thing is to just shop around, no need to say you were in rehab I guess unless it's in their questionnaire. You can sometimes pay a lump sum then pay the rest off per month
