Not a scam site but I'd be wary of the real price when going to checkout (customs/duty) and the fact it could take a while to arrive

    Highly suspicious
Cack handed website using contact details for an hosting company
Actually they have a residential address listed in another place

I really wouldn't waste your money. Too many red flags. When the first payment method listed is bank transfer run away quickly. they only accept credit card via something called payplug. what is payplug you ask? exactly. You can also pay by paypal of course but only if you have a bank account linked to your paypal.

    Hi all,

Came across an ad for this on Facebook - seems like a great present but am wary of it due to the low price. Has anyone bought anything from these guys and have good/bad feedback?

l'd imagine it's fake blocks at best. Would not chance it personally. Price is too good to be true.

Lots of websites a few months old all selling at the same price with the same reviews
    Run away

Came across this site on a link from Tripadvisor. Prices seem much cheaper than other travel sites. Has anyone had dealings with them, are they safe to book with? Maybe I'm being over cautious but I'm a bit reluctant to click that booking.

Never used them but look genuine, Trustpilot reviews are good, they been on facebook since 2015 but strange no review, only a couple of comments, same on twitter.

Weird wording/phraseology on the site, no contact details bar a weird phone number, domain age means nothing, could be a bought domain
Trust pilot is anything but trustworthy for reviews especially when they are glowing reviews

gut tells me its no good, a couple of web-pages say its a scammer site.
just wonder if anyone has an experience with it?

It's a scam, one website gets taken down and they move on to the next one

I'm looking to buy a part for a classic car and came across this site. https://www.nwpparsi.com/ . They have what I'm after but it is suspiciously cheap. I googled it, but there's little to no information on it. Trustpilot is the same. I'm almost certain it's a scam, but how do I find out.

Edit: Only accepts cards, no mention of Paypal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,242 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

Scam - they have dozens of websites, new ones popup as the old ones get taken down

spidey sense is telling me this website would be most likely a scam. bargain hunter is telling me get a deal.

Ymarfirio Online Stores (Sell anything and everything)
    https://www.ymarfirio.com/

example. was looking for Intex - mini frame pool - Blue 122 x 122 cm amazon £30 and don't deliver to Ireland and pops up on this site for £14. Free UK postage on £33 (abstract amount)

The email address is a dead giveaway (same guys as the vinayotap.com websites)
3 week old domain and so on and so on

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,069 ✭✭✭✭fryup

    It's called Supershop-online

there's no security lock in the address bar

They seem to sell mainly office stationary, but the reason i came across them is because they are selling good quality telescopes at half price

there's no phone number either, something fishy??

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,455 ✭✭✭Uncle Pierre

That looks seriously dodgy to me.

The logo might say Super Shop online, but the URL is www.pbcdental.co.uk - why would any genuine office supplies retailer choose the URL of a dental clinic?

The site itself is very poorly designed and laid out too, and even the product description of the telescope you link to starts with this nonsense:
    This fits your .

Make sure this fits by entering your model number.

    I'd avoid.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,242 ✭✭✭✭fritzelly

    Definite scam
why would any genuine office supplies retailer choose the URL of a dental clinic?

They buy expired domains for the SEO weight so they can get their scam sites high up on Google

Mod- removed link. Showed email address.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,135 ✭✭✭corkie

^^^ Nobody is going to open your linked .doc !!!???

Looking to order something from New Balance website - value is around 180 euros.

How do I figure out where the item is being delivered from etc. to understand if I am likely to get hit for additional costs.

It is the nbshoesireland website but not sure if that means much.

    Thanks

Have you tried contacting them directly and asking?
