I don't think even that would be that straightforward, look at the two double races we've had so far. Lewis has won one, someone else has won the other. I reckon in equal machinery, it'll probably be 50/50 as to which track will suit which driver. Max dominates Spa, Lewis dominates Silverstone, etc, so the argument would only then turn as to which track is the better test.

But then you can make that case for the current seats. You need to make the assessment over a season or more, and also judge Lewis based on how he was when he was also in his 6th season, as Max is now.

I think you really would have a case of 2 driver's with great race craft and both equally good at overtaking and equally determined not to be overtaken. I think we would see a lot of dnf's for both drivers until they get to grips with each other's attitude and learn how to push each other. I actually think it could be one of the greatest rivalries we could have in f1 unlike prost/seanna, where prost would take 2nd or 3rd for the points, both of these drivers want 1st, and I think unlike Schumacher time, who was just better than his main rivals 90% of the time, I think Lewis and max are very even, a lot more so than nico or even Fernando. I wish the red bull could catch up with the merc, more so than Ferrari, as at this stage they need to be 2 seconds ahead of merc to compensate for their strategy team, a competitive red bull could be serious trouble to Mercedes. Its something I don't think we will see, such a pity.
