Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Leak from shower to ceiling below

    Hi, looking for a bit of advice on the best way to proceed here.

    I can see that the shower trim has become loose at the bottom and water is getting into the gap, marking the ceiling below.

    Can I just get some silicone and try and reseal the gap? Would this work? Or is it necessary to do a bigger job?

    I d expect silicone would do it surely. Not expert though.

    I d expect silicone would do it surely. Not expert though.

    I’ll try that anyway, it will be pretty quick to see it it works or not.
