If you had a relative who died between 06/08/1914 and 31/08/1921 that served in the Great War and wanted them to be accepted by the C.W.G.C., he would have to have died from something aggravated by, or caused by military service. It must say this in his records and on his death certificate.Last Friday 'In from the Cold Project' in conjunction with the C.W.G.C have added a new criteria for inclusion. If your relative died from an illness contracted during service but not aggravated by,.or caused by military service, he can now be accepted and added. If you have been refused before because of this you may now re-apply to I.F.C.P. To date over 250 new names from the 26 Counties have been accepted over the past 2 years. This new rule will add a lot more.
