The home Automation and Internet of Things (IoT) Forum is a place to ask questions, share information and help out on matters related to home automation and IoT related questions.

Intelligent lighting, power and heating control & automation to the integration with and set up of voice control kit like Amazon Echo, Google Home, Apple home kit etc. are addressed here.

If This Then That (IFTTT) say it like gift without the g. We aim to share our thoughts and ideas about linking systems and equipment

We aim to share Applets from apps like IFTTT and Yonomi here to help bring systems together

We are also looking for honest feedback on how fellow boardies' systems work.

This forum cares nothing for any particular platform or kit it's about connectivity and linking systems up.

Plumbing, intruder alarms and electrical issues associated with internet connectivity and home automation eg stats, relays timers etc will also live here but may get passed over and back by the mods as some threads may cross over and back between the two as they develop

Internet security issues will not live here please. They remain with internet security / network security regardless if they relate to IoT or not.

This is not a for sale section, but we might add an exchange section for users to swap bits of kit they bought but never used .

This is an area where like minded people can share views and experiences relating to home Automation and IoT and have a laugh.

BE NICE FOLKS, REGULAR BOARDS RULES APPLY
