    In Cork City:
Our own pub The Gallows is great fun for darts, especially on Friday nights we run darts double's a euro man just for a bit of craic.. there are some very good players and some hopeless players, we also have a team in the CDO B league and C league.. 2 dart boards downstairs and 2 upstairs.

Darby O Gill's in Blackpool is good for darts, nice lads that play there too.
I've played in an awful lot of pubs around Cork but can't think of any more at the mo, anyone around the Southside call into me for a game sometime.

Carlow and Kildare?? I know there are some big individual tournaments in Carlow that a few Laois throwers join in

In Laois, the best venues are Ryan's, Portlaoise, Woody's and Bennett's in Mountrath, Murphy's in Ballylinan (close to Carlow)

There's a darts exhibition in Woody's this Friday with Adrian Lewis

    How about Leixlip ?

My work has recently re-located out there and it would be cool to be able to stop and throw a few legs before catching the train out of town.

What about pubs in Tallaght? Can anyone help? I'm gonna be here until 2010 and don't want my mediocre standard to suffer anymore!!!

Cuckoos nest on the Greenhills road has a board that's open after 8pm as far as I remember, also Molloys in Tallaght village has a team that are supposed to be pretty useful.

Have you played in any of these bars? If so what are they like?

Sheridans has a new board, nice to play in, busy at the weekends.

Only used two of the boards in Charlies - Both a bit old so bouncing is a common problem, well lit though. The World champ was apparently in there about two weeks ago, I was at a different board and don't follow competitions so didn't notice until someone told me after.

    Pubs with Dartboards in Galway.

This is going by league teams and not with easiness of getting a game. Not much going on with darts in Galway other than the league atm.

Cookes Thatch - 2 boards, can be a few around at the weekend

River Inn - 1 board but not a whole lot going on there

Wheelhouse - 2 boards and an open comp every thursday night

Charlies - 2 boards, decent little bar

Fibber Magees - Know theres a board but not too sure how open it would be to walk in for a game

The rest are outside the city for example

    Grealish's in Carnmore

Lafferty's which is in the middle of nowhere, Moylough I think.

Olde brewery which is in Oranmore.

Thats pretty much all tbh, as I said not much

went for a pint in celbridge on sunday when i was down, lovely little pub called O'Connors that has a super set up, and no bother just putting your name down for a throw, although i didnt last long after the half a dozen guinness...

will post more if theres more darts pubs in the area

Sadly the lantern in Harolds x is closed too, pity i didn't know that before I bused it out there. NO wonder there was only one Irishman at Lakeside this year, come on this is getting really dissapointing. Did the suduko and went home.

In Dublin there's a couple of pubs in the Strawberry Beds area between Chapelizod/Castleknock/Lucan which I think have catered for darts over the years but never seemed to be a regular scene (or if there was I never came across it):
    • The Strawberry Hall has a nice room set aside for darts but unfortunately rarely gets used apart from a few lads from Ballyfermot (I think) I've run into on Friday nights previously so believe they may be considering converting it. Might be obvious to anyone with a serious interest but for the less committed remember to bring your own darts as they don't always have a full set available behind the bar.
    • The Anglers Rest just up the road used to have a board also but was more decorative than anything else and I haven't been there in a couple of years so unaware of the current situation.
    • Never been in the Wrens Nest but have heard tell it does have a board, unfortunately it also has a reputation as a bit of a strictly locals only place.
I'm based in Castleknock so if there's a team or league in the area I'm unaware of or if anyone would like to start one please let me know!!!
