seized badly and only sitting 5 months but took injectors out and poured diesel into them, seems 2 will fill up and remain full but the other 2 will not hold the diesel so is that a good thing or bad thing

Doesn’t look good to start with. What way was it running before it was parked up a few months ago? Will it bar over by hand? (Remove starter motor and use a pry bar on the teeth of ring gear to try lever it round).
Does it look like you might be able to do compression test on it? (Provided it can turn over by hand).

If it can’t be moved at all, then I’d say it’s head off first to have a look and depending on how bad things are, sump will have to come off too, might have to consider pulling engine out and sending off t an engine shop to have it looked at. The 248 Perkins was never as good as its 236 counterpart.

the engine was done up 8 years ago and the exhaust was covered so dont know why its got so tight, have used a bar but it stuck hard

why 2 injectors holding diesel and 2 not?

Water in fuel will cause extensive damage to the fuel system- Pump and injectors.
Is there an inline water trap/filter? Is it clean and not full of water?

Wouldn't worry too much about it not holding diesel, could be just running down between the ring gaps.

There could be rust formed in the cylinder walls. Try rocking it over and back while its in gear.

Or a very gentle tow start to see if you can get it moving.
