Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Great spec. Great camera. Pure Android.
    But won't impress anyone looks wise if that is something that matters to you.
    And it's not the latest. It's the budget version of the last model.
    But personally I prefer feel of plastic to glass. It was worth considering at €400.
    It's a great deal at €179.

    order successful!

    This time around it didnt ask for the Visa 3d secure stuff. But I got a confirmation of the order onscreen. Said its sending a mail to my email..not received yet.

    I'm raging actually. I tried to order maybe half a dozen times, and I followed this thread for updates. Only turned my back for an hour or two this evening, and it looks like I've missed it completely.

    It was preventing online orders of other phones and causing bad publicity . Also kinda felt that they wouldn't last long. About four hours to sell out.
    Commiserations to those that missed out. Felt the same way Friday evening.
    And there are other phones that are as good.

    Pixel 3a will be discounted in the Google Store on Black Friday. Probably to €300 but maybe lower. And they have purplish.

    Looks like I got an order through earlier, received initial order confirmation email.

    However looks like my fat fingers got the postal address wrong! Also my delivery address is against my billing address which are different.Grr!
