Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

Here's what I saw today, mark 4 (don't quote pictures, 24h ban!)

cars are usually registered when they are brought into the country. it would be unusual to leave a car like that sitting for more than 2 years.

But in fairness that's a different thing to saying that a car that has being in the country since 2018 could not have a 211 registration.
Either way a cracking car and kudos to the owner.

Cars are given a reg based on when they are actually registered so it's not impossible for a year or 2 old car to have a newer reg.

There was a Mazda3 MPS for sale a few years ago which is a good example. It was a 2007 MY model but had something like a 2014 license plate as it wasn't registered until then.

I'm not sure what makes people think that, you can register a car whenever you want

I seen that new Ferrari 812 yesterday. I was a bit underwhelmed with the colour and lack of noise. Very discreet, but maybe thats the way the owner wants it.

I hope you had fun driving that!

    The seats look awesome!

Gorgeous except for that awful nose on it. Guess you can't see that when you are driving it though. :D

I think the front looks good. Welcome change from the same old same old from BMW the past decade if not two decades.

Kidney grill goes back a few more decades than the last two!

There's a black 4 series doing the rounds near be, I haven't had a good look but the grill isn't as noticeable and not as bad.

You're right my old e39 was a 1998 so that's 3 decades ago and they were around well before that.

Regarding those seats they look great from behind(carbon fibre) but I hate the white theme going on with the interior of that M3.

I think those seats look ridiculous - it's a car, not an intergalactic spaceship.

The front end im not gone on. Its like when cars a modified and they stick the license plate on any bit of bumper thats not hacked away or obstructing air flow

You could put a normal plate on the front of that without obstructing airflow and have it a lot neater looking.

Total agree, ridiculous, they look like something you'll see at an amusement park :o

I did something similar on my E36. It was taken off never to be refitted in about 2 hours. Got a special holder that screwed into the towing eye. Looked thoroughly daft.

it was an example i just quickly googled but you get the drift :D

That M3 looks the exact same spec as the one that was on Harrys Garage, he hated the seats.

    Looking forward to the review.

They are not the easiest to get out of and I am a much younger man than Harry ;)

Sorry I didn't have my phone or camera with me earlier today, but I saw a Volkswagen ID4 with Irish plates.
I didn't know they were available here yet.
