Getting tax refund after leaving a job

Hello, I was a paid a bonus when I started a job and this was of course taxed. I have to return this bonus when I resign, can I get the tax I paid for it back since I will be returning the money? Thank you

I was a paid a bonus when I started a job and this was of course taxed. I have to return this bonus when I resign, can I get the tax I paid for it back since I will be returning the money?

What amount are they looking for?The gross amount?
Could you net it off your final pay?

Yes, I should repay the gross amount. I've already paid the tax on the gross amount ~50% so if I can't get this back, I would pay twice of what I got.
