    Hi

I recently moved to Germany and I'm trying to find a forum website that is similar to boards.ie

Do anyone have any suggestions? I have been using the toytowngermany website.

    Thanks

nope, in Germany theres a myriad of really specific fourms for every niche you can possibly think of.

for instance this one on digital tv + media
    http://forum.digitalfernsehen.de/forum/

even this fourm for one of the cable tv companies, Kabeldeutchland, is really active
    http://www.kdgforum.de/
and thats only the unofficial one.

you'd have the same for cycling and any other passtime you can think of.

Its to do with having the critical mass in a german speaking population of 100million odd, but I think it kindof reflects too how germans can get hooked on a specific hobby and get absolutely absorbed in it meaning they'd be more interested in a specific fourm than the likes of boards.
(and I couldnt imagine what after hours would look like on a german version of boards, with 20times the users spouting cr@p all at the same time)
