    Christmas time.

Do you think that telling kids about santa only sets them up for a lifetime of disappointment?

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,324 ✭✭✭✭Leg End Reject

I think Santa is magical for kids, some of my happiest childhood memories.

Isn't Santa way better than the Easter bunny?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Big positive is ... getting the hens & ducks in is easier. They were divils a few weeks ago!

    Have you a good memory?

Roller boot skates. I lived in them.

What age were you when you found out who Santa really was?

A stereo. Although I knew it wasn't from the big man in red.

    Ever find the hidden presents?

    Thankfully no.

What present would you like this year?

  • Registered Users Posts: 888 ✭✭✭fmpisces

A stereo. Although I knew it wasn't from the big man in red.

    Ever find the hidden presents?

Yes. My sister told me my Mam had a (sorry) Kylie Minogue cassette tape in her coat pocket that was hanging on the back of her bedroom door. Spoil sport!!

    Favourite Christmas food splurge?

Stuffed peppers, until I can eat no more.
I had that Kylie cassette too, so no shame.
That was my first ever cassette.

    Your first ever cassette?

I don't know, I'm in awe of most animals to be honest.

Have you seen the "How Animals Work" programme, RTE 1 on a Monday night?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

No, sounds like you'd need a strong stomach for it.

If you had to choose between RTE1 all day long or no television at all which would you pick?

Yeah, and I do. There's a bit of dissecting going on.

No television. I'd listen to my music instead.
