Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

WDF Discusson -New Ranking System and Tv Tournaments

    I think this deserves it's own thread and it looks like it's the end of the BDO.

    So the WDF will now be hosting their own World Championships and World Masters as well as of yet to be announced other staged tournaments. No word on prize money, venues, times etc. yet or where they are getting the money from to host these tournaments.

    Also disappointingly there's no mention of a team up with the BDO but they do mention that 2020 is a transitional period so maybe something will be in place for 2021.

    Interesting times in the world of darts! Hopefully it's a success.

    Also of note is that the Irish Open has been granted 'Gold' status so is considered one of the top tournaments on the tour.

    I think they are teaming up with the PDC, they want nothing to do with the BDO.
