Also none of those things have happened....I mean after 11 years you would have expected the dastardly elites to have implemented some of their evil plans at this stage. They seem to be absolutely rubbish at implementing their evil plans.

And none of those thing have anything to do with the goals of "the Great Reset", real or imagined.
Many of the goals are even contradictory to the goals of the WEF et al.

So the question remains, are these separate competing conspiracies?
Is the reset what the bildburgers changed to when they decided on different goals?
Were the claims about the bilderburgers just wrong? Are the claims about the great reset wrong?

Still waiting to hear the answer to this.
But I think the reason we won't hear it is because the conspiracy theorists who believe these theories don't know. They didn't think too deeply about either.

The thing imo is that we are actually in a period of great change. I think there is a focus on these changes and an awareness that things will be different. I know they've said it for centuries but if you look at the data, jobs are being eroded by automation, slowly they are coming for higher skilled professions once completely safe. Decarbonization of the economy will have profound changes in the decades ahead. There will be huge short-term consequences of these developments.

Then you have ageing demographics. What's going to happen there? Less consumption. Less consumption will cause economies to shrink. Less tax revenues for governments. Less ability to fund social services. So we need to shift our thinking. The Great Reset sounds ominous. It will not take the form that the conspiracy theorists imagine but will happen in response to societal and economic changes over the decade(s) ahead.

You don't think the "new normal" sounds ominous?
In theory a virus will cause disruption in all our lives and eventually when the virus passes (as all viruses do) everything will get back to normal and our lives go on as they did before.
Why was this "new normal" drummed into us from day one when it wasn't known how bad this virus was going to be?

Because there hasn't been an event in human history where everyone in the world had to go home and stay at home at the same time.

It was very evident how lethal the virus was from China. So well known before it hit our shores. “New normal” doesn’t mean permanency, unless what you want to believe. The vast majority of people realise that it is temporary but it will be for a prolong period.

Because that phrase came out when literally the entire world was on lockdown. Something which has rarely (if ever) happened before. Wearing masks, social distancing, etc has become the "new normal".

What's your conspiracy explanation for it?

The article is from 2019 and quotes a book published in 2009 which summarises policies pursued over the previous several decades-it's not about some plan enacted on that date.
