Hi there, getting back into cycling. My old bike is not worth repairing. Looking for a decent brand name bike with decent components in good condition. I don't mind paying a bit extra for the right bike. Might do a bit of touring so lugs on frame for panniers might be handy.
    Broad enough scope
Might go for bike to work scheme but said i'd try here first.
    Thanks

you'd need to specify a size.
also, what 'paying a bit extra' means, i.e. is it worth pitching a bike expecting a grand at you, or one for a few hundred.

Fair point. Medium frame. Budget up to a grand.

What height you are or what size in cm of the bike eg 54, 56, 58 etc might give better offers

I have full carbon Rapide RC2 including carbon seatpost and saddle.
    Medium size & pretty rare
    Shimano 11 speed 105 Groupset
    Fulcrum Wheels
    25mm Gatorskin Tyres
    Bontrager 115 stem
    2 x carbon bottle cages
2 x extra top bar levers, they come in handy.

    MINT condition.

Cost €1599 from Revolve Bike Shop in Gorey, have manual and receipt.

Would let it got for €1000 due to upgrades.

    Can PM photoes if needed

I have a Cannondale Synapse Hi Mod disc for sale at the moment. Built with SRAM Force 1 road groupset and decent finishing kit. It’s a 54cm but might be a little over budget at 1300 but it is a high end frame. I can send pics if required but it can be seen on Adverts.

Cripes. A high mod frame for that money is a savage deal!

I have a normal carbon disc Synapse and it is an amazingly comfortable bike. I wouldn't call it a racer but for longer more casual rides, you will struggle to find anything better. I've even bought several higher spec bikes in the meantime but have never been able to bring myself to getting rid of the Synapse

I went with the synapse from micase.
Grand bike. Thanks for input from everyone.
