Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Doors swinging closed

Hi folks, Have about three indoor doors that swing close themselves. Complete pain. Anyway to fix easily? Thanks, Mick

The frames are probably not plumb, you may be able to move the upper or lower hinges in or out, to have the door plumb, this is more difficult with rebated frames than planted on door stop

Rare enough but any chance you have Rising Butt Lift Off Door Hinges?

They will always tend to close automatically.

Not normally fitted for self closing but they are handy if you have thick carpets

This is usually easily resolved by slightly loosening the screws on the top hinges and/or tightening the ones on the bottom.
