Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I,ll show you some pics of the bargains I have recently bought in Ikea,with regards Indoor plants.

    7 foot tall Kentia Palm Plants-26 euro.
    4 foot tall Devils Ivy-15 euro.
    4 foot tall Yuuca Tree-15 euro.


    Ive also bought bedroom furniture,wardrobes,TV units,canvas prints,picture frames,kitchen utensils and many other items from Ikea and so far so good.All at a good price.

    Oh and 2 full Irish Breakfasts with unlimited cups of tea for 2 people for 5 euro all in.:D

    There is a craft/plant sale on in Leixlip castle today, I bought four plants for a fiver.

    and was really impressed with size and quality of stock and prices. Very friendly and helpful and good to see a young Irish company starting up. They don't do online deliveries yet but that will happen pretty soon. It's about an hour's drive from M50.

    Tesco Clarehall........

    Keter 4 tier black plastic shelving system.

    Was 25 euro,now reduced to 12 euro.

    Handy for a garden shed,allotment shed or a garage and storing some gardening tools.:)

    Just bought 1l handspray Westland resolva 24 hr weedkiller in B&Q normally €6.60 advertised as two for €9 but when scanned at checkout you get a €6.20 discount so works out two for €7 !!

    Also 2 euro in any of the "Euro2" shops.

    Peanuts (200 grams) - 2 bags for 2 euro. DOES IT GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT!

    Atlantic and Woodies are more or less the same store/shop and are both owned by the Graftan Group.

    I rekon all Atlantic stock will be transfered over to Woodies,if they do go bust (which they havent yet).

    They are currently in recievership at the moment.

    All Tesco Stores are selling lovely large "Irish Grown" Oxide Daisys and Salvias for 6 euro a pot.

    Bought and planted several of them the other day.

    Well there was plenty in Artane Castle,Clarehall,Omni Park and Clearwater the other day.

    Asked the manager in Clarehall about Tesco stocking Irish Grown Plants,and he said all Tesco stores were now selling them
