Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hi Folks ,

    Recently started streaming. To be honest I love to game and I'm only doing it because I have the ability my pc is powerful enoug.

    Anyway just wondering has anyone got any advice there willing to share with me?

    Hi,

    Where do you Stream? YT or Twitch?

    Firstly, make your Stream look good with some Overlays. Google 'streamlabs'.

    Secondly, create a schedule so that your viewers know when they can catch you. Wether it be each night for 2 hours or every Tuesday / Thursday.

    Thirdly, be interactive with your audience. Reply to chat, greet new comers.

    Fourthly, encourage people to Subscribe / Follow on Stream.

    Fifthyl, just enjoy it. If you're not enjoying it, then your audience won't.

    Consider what you want to stream. There's plenty of different styles.

    Variety streamer? One Genre? Tournaments or live events? Speed runner specialising in one game?

    You need to be able to do it over and over, so you want to be confident you'll be able to generate that content.
