Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

I believe i may have relatives in the Rathdrum area. My uncle was Peter Porter born 1936 son of Peter and Bridie Porter.i am not having much luck with online searches so wondered if anyone on here may be able to help. Peter had 3 brothers John,Miles and Andrew and a sister Margaret. Thanks

Peter Porter & Bridget Kinsella marriage 1930 - based off finding an birth index in Rathdrum for Peter Porter in 1936 with mother's name Kinsella.

As they were born in the 1930's it's possible that the records of their marriages won't be online as the most recent marriage records for Ireland are the civil indexes which only go up to 1958.

EDIT: I've just checked and that appears to be the case.

As it's your uncles are there family members you can ask for that information?

This isn't always the case.

Also, the graves in the Find A Grave link above are a different family of Porter's.

Unfortunately not which is why i thought there maybe some Porters in Rathdrum who would see this and could maybe help.
