Just wondering, what's the point in being a windsurfer if everyone has a go at you when you go surfing in the wind!

There hasn't been a weather warning now for nearly two weeks. Very unusual. Has Met Eireann reconsidered the alarmist scare tactics it uses in light of the damage to it's reputation and standing after Storm Lorenzo?

Met Éireann blames media for 'over-sensationalising' Storm Lorenzo after receiving complaints
https://www.thejournal.ie/met-eirean...87235-Nov2019/ I see George Lee was sent to Donegal on the RTÉ news tonight to sensationalise the weather again too. |

Met should look inhouse before blaming others for hype, the previous storms were OTT by their own and there are 2 that come to mind when hype is mentioned.

Ya know its all well and good taking the piss out of them for over-hyping the weather warnings, but when all is said and done, if someone was killed they'd be chastised for not issuing a higher warning. Too many people around with nothing to do but moan about little first world problems!!!
