    Inter (thedunne) 1 - 5 Lazio (Meath77)

Nasty start for Inter, 2 nil down in 7 minutes! They then scored and had a few more chances, but lazio scored next. Both teams had chances in the second half but lazios keeper made some good saves. 2 late goals from lazio made the scoreline flattering.

Griffiths goal in this game too.

PSG didn’t really create much. Bought my time while having a few chances in between - Nice slide across by Sinclair for Griffiths to score. Was worried I wouldn’t score after missing a couple of chances.

    2/2 for Celtic!!

The result flattered me, Celtic by far the better team with PSG unable to trouble the Celtic rearguard. 3 points well earned.

    Valencia 0 - 3 Inter Milan
    Batesy v thedunne

Frustrating game for the home side failing to convert numerous chances early on. Punished by some clinical finishing.

    Well played thedunne.

That’s 3 loses for Valencia in week 1. Conceding far too many goals and failing to finish up front to compete.

(thedunne) Inter Milan 1 - 6 AC Milan (kingosh_)

Milan derby and the Rossoneri emerged victorious, with Higuain bagging the bulk of the goals, including a first half hat-trick. Went 2-0 up fairly early and then Inter pulled one back. Went into the break at 3-1, and then grabbed a few more in second half to make it comfortable. Inter unlucky to only score the one goal. Good game.

    (Colemaniser) Liverpool 3-0 (TheOriginalJipo)

    Scorers: Firmino, Shaqiri, Salah

Tough enough game here with Monaco proving hard to break down. Finally took the lead after lots of pressure. Monaco then threatened for an equaliser and almost got it through Jovetic. Monaco then went all out attack and shaqiri sealed the win with his first touch of the game. Salah with a lovely chip finish at the death to put the icing on the cake.

    Good game Jipo!

    West Ham 4 - 0 Monaco

First game back and Jipo didnt make it easy. Free flowing game and to be fair to jipo, he hit the post 2 or 3 times. If any if them went in it would have turned into a different game. Good game bud

    West Ham 0 - 5 Roma

West Ham just couldnt get into the game. Damo was clinical and just out played me to be fair. No complaints here. Well played man.

    Man United 4-2 AC Milan

Close enough game, Sanchez finally justifying that 350k a week pay check with 2 goals and an assist :pac:

    Sanchez 30',33'
    Lukaku 69', 77'

    Suso 39'
    Bonaventura 66'

    Good game, Kingosh_

    Division B

    Real Madrid (philamental) 0 - 0 West Ham (Aidz-Eire)

The home side started in commanding fashion, dominating possession and creating a stream of half chances but West Ham's defence held firm until the break. The second half was a far more even affair in terms of possession, but the Hammers had the much better chances including one effort that came back off the bar.

A draw was the right result in this game of two halves, but both managers were heard voicing their regret after the game for failing to take advantage of the spells when their side was on top.

The point takes West Ham to mid table, but Real's third low scoring draw in a row leaves them looking precariously over their shoulders as the Champions League winners continue to struggle to find their form this season.

    (Stephen_Mc91) Bilbao 2-2 Chelsea (kennyg)

Great end to end game. Keepers were on TOP form! Half times shot stats read 9/6 to Bilbao and 6/6 for Chelsea, with Bilbao 1-0 up at this stage through Williams. Chelsea came on hard in the second half in search of the equaliser but left themselves open to the counter attack and Williams got his second goal for a 2-0 lead after 70 mins. Barkley hit back instantly though for Chelsea. They had all the momentum at this point and were rewarded with another Barkley goal for 2-2 85th min. Bilbao almost snatched the win in the dying moments but it was level in the end. Great game.

Southampton (Bijilf) 2 - 0 Real Madrid (philamental)

A good first half from Southampton had them two ahead at the break. Real Madrid missed a penalty in the second half and a chance to get back into the game. Finished 2-0.

    Thanks for the game, philamental.

    Division A

    PSG (ivefoundgod87) 1-2 Juventus (pizzaburn85)

Mandzukic gave the old lady an early lead after a goal mouth scramble and Juventus took control. Costa, Ronaldo and Mandzukic caused chaos amongst the PSG defence without managing to find a second goal. Cavani then missed a sitter from PSGs only good chance.

The second half continued in much the same vain until finally Ronaldo looked to have secured victory with a 15 minutes to go. This seemed to give PSG a boost as they pushed forward looking for a way back. Mbappe found himself free in the penalty area and headed home to make it a tense final ten minutes. Juventus held out relatively comfortably and were good value for the 3 points.

    Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal (thegifted1dblin)
The hosts started brightly in this one , Chelsea the better team in the first half but failing to capitalise (Morata harmless 😂)
Arsenal really got going in the second half and we're rewarded when aubameyang got behind and thumped the ball home on the hour mark
Chelsea pushed towards the end but we're left open to the counter a goal line clearance keeping them in the game but in the end it mattered little as Arsenal hung on for all 3 points
A draw was probably the fair result but if you don't take your chances you get nothing ha
    Good game Arsenal
Best of luck with your remaining fixtures

    Valencia 3 - 1 Manchester Utd
    Batesy v itsHoggie

Valencia get their 1st 3 points of the season. Took some of the chances nicely this time. Utd pressed hard but were frustrated by a resilient Valencia back four.

    Lazio (Meath77) 1 - 4 Southampton (Koolhanger)

Was 1-1 at half time, but Southampton could have won this 7-1! Southampton started slow in this competition, but they'll go far, Koolhanger is a handy player!

    Arsenal 5 juventus 0

Very tough first half with juve dominating. Nil all at half time before Aubameyang sprang to life netting 4 in total with lacazette getting the other 1. Think 4 were on the break.
Good game tougher than result suggests

    (Damok21) Roma 3- 4 Liverpool (colemania)

Very scrappy game this with Roma struggling with liverpools high press. Got off to the worst possible start when my keeper passed the ball to firmino right in front of the goal for 1-0. Game was tit for tat after that but Roma couldn't stop the lethal firmino who bagged 4 goals! Good game coleman

Well beaten. Firmino on form here with I think 4 goals. Two goals conceded after goal kicks which was disappointing. Don’t think I had a shot in the first half. Onwards and upwards hopefully! Good game colemaniser.

Barcelona (niallym) 1-0 Atletico Madrid (nslattery)

This game played out pretty much like it would in real life, except Atletico played like Barca, and Barca played like Atletico.
Some resilient stout defending kept Atletico at bay and 0-0 at half time.
On 64 minutes Suarez found himself unmarked on the 6 yard line and duly hammered home. Atletico had much the better of this match in terms of chances, but a combination of resolute defending, good saves and some luck saw Barca get a 1-0 win. Well played Nslattery, you deserved something out of the match.

    Gameweek 2

(nslattery) Ath Madrid 4 - 5 Celtic (DavidJKennedy)

After losing their last game 1-0 to Barcelona a battered Ath Madrid was looking to bounce back.

With Ath Madrid's attack and GK on down arrow form, it was looking ominous when Griffiths scored after 3 minutes after the keeper decided to forget to save :D

Another beauty of a free kick goal by Griffiths put Celtic 2 up before the 20 min mark. Griezmann got one back a few mins later but Rogic made it 3-1 on 28 mins before the Griezmann yet again reduced the deficit on the half-hour mark.

Sinclair made it 4-2 on 32 minutes and Griezmann got his hat-trick on the hour mark to claw Atleti back to within one yet again.

A mad OG by the keeper made it 4-4 after 78 mins. Madrid had a chance after 85 minutes but messed up. A lovely move with 3 successive back heels cut the Madrid defence wide open before that man yet again Sinclair won the game for Celtic.

    Great game David

    Week 2
    Arsenal 8 Celtic 1

Defensive howler in the first few mins allowed Aubameyang to net after 4 mins. Second on 30 mins made it difficult for Celtic. 2 nil at half time.
Lacazette got in on the scoring on 49 mins followed by mikatarian. Wheels came off and there was a very ropey og by Celtics keeper.

    Good game david

Two goals from Griezmann either side of goals from Kane and Lamela. Good game all round with loads of chances for both sides and some great saves!

    Division B

    Real Madrid (philamental) 1 - 3 Lazio (Meath77)

Well this one was just one of those nights for the home side! After starting with purpose and creating a glorious chance that Asencio skyed over the bar, Lazio scored after Navas threw the ball to the attacker who fed Immobile for a gift of an opener. Midway through the first half, another defensive lapse resulted in a straight forward cross and headed finish by Savic which concluded the first half scoring for a 0-2 lead for Lazio.

The second half began with renewed intent from Real who managed to pull one back when Marcelo smashed one in from the edge of the box from a half cleared corner. That was as good as it got as after that, Lazio's keeper was inspired with some fantastic saves which frustrated Real and a late break saw Immobile grab his second and that was that.

Lazio were deserved winners with their clinical finishing but Real will feel they were their own worst enemies after this result.

    Monaco 2 - 2 Man United

Points on the board for Monaco here, although United missed a boat load of chances, I'd imagine ItsHoggie was fit to put the controller through the TV in this game.
Monaco went 1 up through a nice through ball to Falcao before finishing well, it was soon 2 - 0 through a well placed header from Falcao again. United spent most of the rest of this half knocking on the door with some very poor wides and some great saves from Subasic too tbf.
I can't recall who pulled 1 back for United apologies but the equalizer came through a defensive howler gifting Lukaku an open goal in 86th minute.

    good game mate.

    Rangers 0 -2 Manchester City

Match went pretty much the same as all Rangers matches have gone so far, and will go in the future, with the hosts defending resoundingly in the first half, restricting City to a few chances but they struggled to hit the target or beat Super Alan McGregor. Rangers themselves looked to somewhat dangerous on the break, but a distinct lack of pace meant that it was relatively easy for the City back line to defend against.

Into the second half and it wasn't long before City eventually broke the deadlock, snatching two goals in 5 in a five minute spell just ten minutes in to effectively end the tie as a contest. Rangers continued to look surprisingly threatening up until the final whistle, including a breakaway which lead to Koulibaly's attempt parried away out wide. It was collected by a Rangers player who lobbed the ball back in to find Arfield/Dorrans (I think) at the edge of the box but his sublime volley could only find the angle of the goal frame.

Good game, whavin. I still think I deserved a goal. No points, I didn't deserve any of them, just a goal. :pac: :)
