Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    .. picked it up this time last year at €14.99.

    Would be amazed if it was ever €34.84 - but that's Argos for you! :D

    nice one, total bargain. It says it comes with 2 batteries, but the remotes need 2 batteries each. any idea if you buy more batteries?

    No, the yoke comes with 2 battery packs.
    It plugs in to the usb on the wii so the wii has to be powered on for the controllers to re-charge.
    I got one in Nutgrove on Wednesday.

    The wii stuff gets real cheap in Argos every so often , I bought that charger for 6.99 2 weeks before Christmas then it went back to the original price.
    Very handy though , saving me a fortune in battreies.

    Just picked one up today too, cheers OP.

    The Argos site stopped working for me under Chrome. Switched to IE or Firefox and all was well again!

    Thanks OP - just reserved for collection now. On the rare occasion I get the kids to play Wii the controllers are always dead. 3 & 4 Yr old so hoping I will get them more into it this year... need someone to beat at tennis:D

    They put it up about a week before xmas - i was waiting to get vouchers from work so I could pick it up for €6.99 and it was gone up! :mad: Back to €6.99 on xmas day, reserved and collected on Stephen's day! :pac:
