The Swedes and the Borg have many similarities.

When I moved to Sweden first I convinced my other half the blueberry soup was not a good thing. Too much sugar, not enough blueberries. Move forward in time a few years... bad case of food poisoning and blueberry soup is the only thing that I can tolerate. Now I love the stuff.
I didn't trust mustard from a tube... but now it's one of my favourites. Lågom on my veggie prinskorv along with pickles.
Slowly but surely I am being assimilated.

    Yay!! :D
Nyponsoppa and blåbärssoppa is the best! I like warm nyponsoppa with those small mandelbiskvier, but that's totally sugary .... but it's nice so why the hay not like? :D:D

I haven't had a semla yet this season, I'll have my first on Friday. I select it carefully; the one with the most sugar powder and the least cream. Always hoping for a lot of mandelmassa inside :):):)

Favourite 3 Finnish foods would be Ruisleipä (rye bread) Karjalanpiirakka (rice or potato pies) and Kalakukko (fish pie). Mother in law does so good kalakukko diferent than any other one i have seen, always look forward to it.
