Hello again everyone, we have another busy week ahead on Boards...

First of all, we mentioned last week that the 5th Annual Boards Christms Comedy gig was happening. The gig raised an amazing €1020 for this year's Santa Strike Force fund which isn't bad considering it was a free gig! We'd like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who gave so generously on the night and of course to the comedians: Marcus O'Laoire, Gordon Rochford, Greg Marks, Neil Hickey, John Colleary, Gerry McBride, Robbie Bonham and of course, MC Ruairi Campbell for running things from the stage. We also need to extend a massive thank you and congrats to grames_bond and Galvasean for their epic organising once again and making this happen for the last 5 years.

OK, so on to what's happening this week...

In what has now become one of the more peculiar traditions on the site, every Christmas one of the mods on After Hours poses naked for a picture only if a certain threshold of money is raised for Santa Strike Force. This year we've even got a list of potential candidates:

Let's get this show on the road. El Weirdo, Micky Dolenz, Whoopsadaisydoodles, and Dr. Bollocko have all agreed an amount of money their nekkid photos are worth. The more money we raise the bigger the prize!!!

Target 1 is €3,000 - if we reach this, El Weirdo will get his bits out for the kiddies

Target 2 is €6,000 - this will get you Micky Dolenz in the nip, added bonus for foreign landmark!

Target 3 is €10,000 - that'll get you whoopsadaisyboobies

Target 4 is €20,000 and Dr. Bollocko will go bollocko take 2! He's a star now, so he thinks he's worth a few bob more than when he was a nobody.

If target 2 is reached, El Weirdo is safe. If target 3 is reached, Micky is safe and so on. You only get one naked mod!

As of right now, it's looking like Micky Dolenz may have to start thinking about poses as we're at a total of over €5000 at the time of writing. Let's also take a moment to say a huge thank you to Beasty who agreed to match every donation made on Monday for a whopping total of €2100! We're sorry you're not getting the new wheels this year, but Santy will be extra good to you next year as a result Beasty

Finally this week, the Fighting Gamers are getting themselves ready for the 8th Day of Champions which will take place in January in Exchange in Dublin. For those of you not familiar with what this is, this is a professional fighting games tournament (yes, there are people who play computer games for money!). The following games will be played:

5. I am also determined to have a stupidly fun silly side tournament, cause it'll make for brilliant commentaries and its nice to let people de-stress. Therefore, we will be running a Teams 2v2 Street Fighter X Tekken 4-player scramble mode tourney.
