Moving parts on phones his a big hullabaloo about nothing.

We had moving parts on phones for years before smart phones and they were fine.

Those giving out will never use it.

Basically a 300 euro phone can do everything perfectly for me now. That's the price that OnePlus one came out at. 600 euro now? I mean are you getting a phone that's twice as good as a 300 phone?

That's not quite how it works.

Going to pick up the pro, despite the expected €800+ price tag. I've never used a front facing camera in my life, delighted to see it hidden instead of taking up screen space. Couldn't really care less if it breaks.

Unless it breaks in the "up" position ;)

For a lot of people it'll never be in the up position after day one.

I'd guess the standard will stay in line with the 6T and then the Pro is bumping up to the higher prices.

They are certainly no longer the "budget flagship" device that they once were.
That's all I'm gonna say on the pricing rumours :(

    It would be garbage.

This is very intriguing as it's highly likely to be the 7 Pro and this guy, and all of Android Police, usually likes absolutely nothing. This sort of praise from him and it must be outstanding altogether.

I was waiting for the announcement and confirmation of prices.
I think I'll be going for a Pixel 3A XL

And still no wireless charging or IP rating.

    I'll stick with my 6T.

OnePlus have really dropped the ball with this launch I think, way too many options yet not delivering what people actually want.

That popup camera is such a gimmick.

I'm not sure what to do to be honest.
Ive bought the last few when they came out and I don't want to settle for anything less than the top spec but we are talking the bones of €900.
If I do buy it,I won't be buying again for 2 years..
But by then something a lot better will probably have been released.

Pro starts at 699. Not 900.

    12GB 256GB 819.

The dollar prices won't have state taxes included. This is mentioned every single year on nearly every product launch.

Jesus. Was going to buy off Amazon as they will sell to business customers vat free, but there's a nearly €100 price difference between €820 and £800. I'm hoping you'll be able to get one delivered to Ireland off on of the euro Amazon sites.

When I posted that I had only seen the top spec UK price was £800 so I was expecting it to be nearer €900 here.
I wouldn't be going for the 699 one anyway.

Looking at the review, it's looking less likely I'll go for it.
I was 50/50ish but it's seems battery life isn't great and I want a good battery for traveling.

And of course the EU version will have vat already added, which if we added Ireland's VAT rate to the American price would bring it up to $922

Edit, that's taking the price of the most expensive phone

I bought the 5 when released, best purchase I made tech wise in years, still going strong. I dont see anything here that would tempt me to run out and buy the 7/7pro over it.

No way! - Any chance they'll have it unlocked?

No way! - Any chance they'll have it unlocked?

More than likely as they won't have enough time to lock it themselves

Will be unlocked at they only come in a dual sim config.

If price is same as OP then better going with OP for support in case of any issues.

Three are awful to deal with.

If price is 70-80 cheaper than I would go with Three.

Wow 206g is heavy. I've used to have the iPhone 180g 7plus and it was a brick.
