    Just seen this on Kickstarter.

Our own 3D printers here be able to knock these pictures id imagine?

    http://kck.st/2EvdaTN

Maybe I'm just a fussy bastard but I feel like they need a bit more height? If you didn't want to display spines and want the front of the carts, would it not make sense to have more than just a small part of the top visible?

    Nice idea though.

There are so many stands knocking around to print at home. And you don't need anything fancy, cheap as chips Ender 3 will do the job on all these. I've printed a few stands and holders, but in the end I just like to put the games on my shelves and display them normally(can fit more games that way).

Yeah, usable 3D printers for very cheap these days. Even resin printers that spit out insane levels of detail for €200-€300.

Yeah I've seen that pop up on my suggested ads. €160 shipped

I'd love to get a 3D printer to make a few odds and ends.

Trying to save up for a pixma pro first though

Get the Ender 3 Pro or even better the V2 as they have a proper meanwell branded power supply rather than a power supply designed to drive LEDs.

I think the PSU on the standard Ender 3 has grounding issues also.

Yeah. very cheap and cheerful psu on the bog standard Ender 3. I've seen less burned connectors on the Pro and V2

Not my pic, but this type of thing.

Yeah I forgot about those. The reason for those those connectors going smokey is that they are crimped poorly.

Creality fixed this by soldering them instead of crimping.

Here's how to tell if they have been soldered or crimped.

The soldered ones should have these grey little hoods on them as you can see in this pic:

    525147.jpg

It's unlikely that you'll get one crimped poorly I'd imagine these days but it's something to look out for.

Decent price for a 1UP unit, the only downside is the location for a lot of people.

I think the oddest thing I ever bought while drunk was an Action Force Mobile Command Centre.

Myself and a mate were reminiscing about the toys we used to play with in each others houses as kids. He'd recently rebought Boulder Hill from Mask and convinced me that I needed my command centre back.

We were seriously five sheets to the wind and I went on ebay and bought the yolk.

A a couple of weeks later this big parcel arrives and I have zero memory or ordering anything that big.

Some 'WTF???' moment when I opened the box and saw this:

As you can imagine, it stayed in it's box until I resold it on adverts a few months down the line :D

Edit - found my old ad! hah

That joke was the centerpiece of an eventful christmas in my house. My brother got it for christmas and I learned a lot of swear words from my dad as he tried to put it together.

Heatons ( or Brand Max as its known now) must have got a lot of old GAME stock , as they have some gaming related bobbleheads and a few other bits and bibs . But tucked away in their Maynooth shop were a load of Retron HD's ( the NES one)for 12 quid!.
To be honest its nearly worth the price just for the controller.

I got a cable adapter this morning from the US. Has the same thing on the plastic bag, I think its a law in California that you have to display these things to sell there(or from there).

    Qky6A2V.jpg

    Edit:
    What is Proposition 65?
Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other
reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals.

Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water.

Proposition 65 requires California to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. This list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to include approximately 900 chemicals since it was first published in 1987.

Proposition 65 became law in November 1986, when California voters approved it by a 63-37 percent margin. The official name of Proposition 65 is the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.
