Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    “As a parent”

    Is a way to tell someone their opinion is worthless and that their own is infinitely more intelligent

    Every summer we have radio shows about children drowning/obesity/cycling safety,etc

    “Well as a parent” says the radio show phone in listener to the emergency services expert or politician tasked with this job. Who probably is a parent too but didn’t feel the need to tell the world

    Most often used by people screaming about a mobile phone mast near a school while bitching about network coverage. Technical experts and engineers opinions are worth nothing compared to “as a parent”

    Any time the word 'literally' is used, when the context makes it clear that the speaker is speaking figuratively.

    Irregardless of the context, it's not a misunderestimation to say it literally boils my piss.
