    SALE OF IRISH PAINTINGS

    380+ Lots

On: Wednesday 7th March at 7.00pm

    Viewing:
    Tuesday 6th March 10.00am – 8.00pm
    Wednesday 7th (day of sale) 10.00am – 5.00pm

    Catalogue online here: http://www.rosss.com/searchresults.asp?AucID=79

There’s some great value to be had amongst the 380+ Lots on offer. There are works by Maurice Canning Wilks, Frank Egginton, Colin Middleton, Gregory Moore, Graham Knuttel, Markey Robinson, Frank McKelvey and James Humbert Craig. Many of them in the very affordable mid-hundred pound range. There has never been a better time to pick up quality art at bargain prices. Apart from works by my perennial favourite (Gregory Moore) I was particularly taken with this painting of the Titanic’s sister ship “Britannic” by James Macdonald which carries a low estimate of £250 – £350. At 36 x 48 inches you get a big bang for your buck too!

No, it's not defunct. Otherwise it would've been locked. Posts on dates and locations of any Antique auctions are welcome, for example the way Judgement Day posts is absolutely fine.
