    Gwan Coombes

This man's professional record is up there with James Ryan's first starts

He's scoring consistently and impressing in every game

That was very dirty by the Glasgow 6

Wilson, a nothing player. Missed with the shoulder, caught with the knee. Nothing in it says comms.

I was actually thinking Scott Penny. Steps up and gets tries whenever he plays. Ryan's first starts were mired by injuries.

Counterruck by 17, is that Knox?

    Brilliant counter ruck.

Absolutely criminal to get counter rucked that close to the opposition line.

Great from Knox, but whoever was in before him preventing Glasgow 18 getting low made that. Didn't see who it was...

    Glasgow going complete Scottish here.

Two penalties and they have gone from the munster five into their own 22

    First mistake by Haley there.

Incredible. 5 Points away to Glasgow. Brilliant team performance given the conditions. So many young players leading this team.

    Very happy with this

Very assured performance by munster in that weather, to take away five points.

Can't help but think Scottish Rugby really is dumb right now.
The box kick to touch at the end just sums up their stupidity

What a result, bonus point away to Glasgow isn't supposed to happen, great performance, 3 bonus points from 6 matches is a great sign as well.

Munster made harder work of that than they should have. Some really poor decisions to go for the posts in the third quarter could have cost them. Luckily Glasgow were shocking and incapable of taking advantage. They seemed more interested in finding new ways to shoot themselves in the collective feet.

Bonus point in really crappy conditions with host of young guns in the team and on the bench, we'll take it! Was scrappy after half time but we closed it well.

Coombes and Casey are really pushing for inclusion, maybe towards being worthy of a look internationally in some context in the near future. Healy had a few wayward kicks from hand/at goal but you'll forgive him in the conditions. I'd give him the jersey for the season or until Joey proves himself again.

Very impressed by our handling so far this season - we're trying tip-ons, offloads, pops off the floor - they weren't happening last season but it's working a lot more this season.

Zebre next week. Should be 7 from 7 before the break. Think we'll be good enough to beat Quinns and Clermont. Can't see us losing until we play Leinster at christmas

It does this season. I can't overstate how f*cked the league is at the moment. It's like the provinces are the only teams really trying.

Glasgow have now lost to all 4 provinces in the opening 7 rounds.

Looked in the balance at 13-15, so that's a brilliant outcome.

It's great to see the young lads having such a central role. Casey is a livewire, had one box kick out on the full today, but other than that they were excellent. Coombes as well has been playing brilliant stuff, surely has to be involved in the Champions Cup.

Glasgow seemed to always follow up giving away a penalty in the Munster 22 by giving another one away at the resulting lineout. So they go 80 metres back and Munster literally don't pass the ball or run a single metre.

Ryan Wilson is the dumbest person I've ever seen play rugby

All 4 irish provinces are playing really well

    Leinster are Leinster,

Last year Ulster couldn't hold onto the ball, so many knock-ons, handling errors etc, this year, they have been much much better

Connacht are also a really really good team. The Munster players who joined them last year have really added to their squad. Wootton is playing really well, Arnold and Oliver are both really good players who I'd be more than happy to see starting on any Munster team.

The IRFU are so good at managing the 4 provinces, moving players to where they are needed, making sure that we have good squad management.

The Scottish and Welsh rugby unions are amatures compared to the IRFU

BP win, Munster made it harder on themselves by opting for three points on occasions when backing their lineout maul to score again seemed the more obvious decision.

Ryan Wilson being binned for doing Ryan Wilson things is the cherry on the top.

Craig Casey is going to be the next Irish 1st choice scrum half.

Unless something awful happens injury wise, he is by far the most mature and promising 9 I have seen in years.

(Marmion is 2nd, but a fair bit behind at this stage of development)

I think you're being very optimistic to assume this season is as a result of the management of the provinces. The most significant factor, by a mile, has been the collapse of the other teams.

The provinces are playing OK. They're not some magical group of teams tearing it up. They're just doing simple things and being relatively accurate. They haven't suddenly become significantly better teams this season.

The rest of the league has gone miles backwards. I don't think that's up for debate. Leinster were pretty average last night and ended up scoring 40. They made errors, struggled to break down Cardiff and then they suddenly scored 21 points in 13 minutes.
