Hi, it was a toss up to post this here or in the food section, hope this is OK here?

My mother was given 2 hampers she does not need. It's mostly stuff like pasta, cereal, sauces, biscuits etc all long BB dates and 'ambient' as I believe they say in th retail business.

Any charities take this kinda stuff?

Supermarkets often have food collections at this time of year, usually a trolley is left near the exit for items to be dropped in.
