Veganism has never been so important/popular yet this forum is dead.

    Why ?

It’s the best time ever to be vegan and this forum should be buzzing.

I have my own take as to why but would like to hear other feedback first.

People don't really use boards. They use Instagram, Facebook groups (one dublin group alone has 11,000 members), Reddit etc.

I still drop my like 1 post a year, so I like to see it as remarkable consistency over this time! :‎D

But, yeah, what Tar says .. I mean, when vegged up back in the day, I think .. here was pretty much the only place I could think to find about what veggie places there were, or what Dunnes might be getting in stock etc., from an Irish perspective at least.

But now FB/Insta etc is flooded with information and updates .. maybe boards can still be the place for a more 'discerning' one ... or at least still be the best place to communally track down veggie roasts come December! :‎D

Boards is definitely one of the best places to have a discussion I think, only Reddit is better. As for finding roasts, leave it to us https://www.instagram.com/veganfood.ie/

Probably because it has become mainstream.

You no longer have to take the "stir fry" in a restaurant.
You no longer need to go to a specialist store to get food.
You no longer are seen as a freak by people.
