Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Brady's a soccer player, and thus disqualified under the OP's rules for the thread.
    Otherwise, I agree. Wouldn't choose a cricketer.

    Regarding Ed Joyce and cricket,i was just trying to get as many sports as i could into the list,in all honesty i could have a load of dubs,1 is enough

    Iwas just about to put in cyclist Mark Scanlan for Sligo but mary will do nicely,surely someone from the rossies made a name for themselves at some time
