Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.
Thanks all.

Imagine propoganda.

As has been reported over on the Broadband forum ...
    http://www.independent.ie/business/technology/national-broadband-plan-will-fail-those-in-our-country-areas-35229984.html

Is there any chance that IoffL could do some sort of a rebuttal to that shameless stinking pile of horse excrement?

Imagine really need to say why they were excluded from the NBP at the pre-qualification stage and why/if they think they were treated unfairly.

They even have the temerity to tweet about it now.

It was some hatchet Job, How was that even allowed, It paints the Independent in as bad a light as imagine.

I'm currently waiting for an Imagine install, Unfortunately they are my only option, but I'm seriously re-considering it now.
I'm disgusted at such a blatant attempt to torpedo the NBP.

My only other option is a crappy eircom 1meg dsl which is just not enough for a remote connection to work. The blue lines stop about 200 meters from my home in both directions, So the NBP is my only hope for the future.

It seems to be an endless wait for an alternative to these parasitic wisps for people like us. :(

gives anyone the chance to at least voice their opinion on this pathetic article (advertising). Imagine don't want FTTH, Eir or Siro taking away the opportunity to dominate rural Ireland with wireless internet and their data allowances/throttling.
