Dunno the freq off hand though it's on www.lyngsat.com but the freq will be no good to you anyway. The channel will be encrypted with an ROI viewing card. You need a UK FreeToView card or such like! ;)

Go to Community>>ICDG>>Satellite for further info!

Press the ‘Services’ button on your remote control. This is near the top, to the right.
Find and press ‘Add Channels/Add Chnls’.
    Enter the following frequencies:
    Frequency: 10.773
    Polarisation: H
    Symbol Rate (Mbaud): 22.0 (22.000)
    FEC: 5/6
After you have inputted the foreign data above, press the yellow button to ‘Find Channels’. (You may receive a messaging telling you that it is scanning, and to please wait.
You should now have found ‘Channel 5’. Press the yellow once it’s highlighted and press the ‘Select’ button.
After all that, you should see ‘Channel line-up complete’.

Remove the Sky card and it should be no problem.

  • Registered Users Posts: 46 ConCoBar

And following that, if you pull out the sky card, turn off the box, wait a few seconds and turn the box back on without the card, the UK EPG will appear (no RTE's though). Channel 5 will work fine now!

Thank you from me too. The regular Channel 5 on sky (in "other channels") is out tonight. I have now just added all the 5 Channels in a couple of mins.

    Thanks again

I called up the sky ireland and they cannot be contact for unforseen reason according to sky scotland, i called again and sky scotland say and i qoute " no problem will put you through to sky ireland"

two seconds later a womans answers from Sky india (no joke) she said your problem has been logged along with all of you in Ireland that want to see the eviction on big brother even though i never said i wanted to watch BB and you have no channel 5 because the broadcaster have requested for a shut off in ROI for the 24 hours as they need to sort a problem with the territory.

COINCIDENCE GEOGIA GETS EVICTED NO IRISH VOTES
