Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Paphos for Midterm

    I'm heading off with herself for the midterm break. Would be grateful if anyone had any recommendations for things to do, places to eat!

    Can't help with the food - very conservative palate so when I was last there I survived on Pizza hut and KFC (which where located down near the waterfront), or cooked for myself (self catering apartment).

    As for things to do - do consider hiring a car and heading up into the Troodos mountains. They are very beautiful, in fact during my trip there I spent most of my time up in the hills from my base at Paphos. But they might be a little chilly or getting chilly by late October.

    Cyprus is handy in that they all drive on the same side of the road as we do.

    Plan on visiting Coral Bay and I highly recommend the pint bottles of Carlsberg, nothing like the stuff here.
