Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Closure of this forum

    We have been undertaking a review of the Hosted forums, with a view to doing some tidying up.

    This forum was established many years ago. One of the key principles of the site is that we encourage interaction amongst all posters interested in a topic without different posting rules. With this in mind, the hosted forums review highlighted both the Spurs and Chelsea forums as a bit of an anachronism.

    It has therefore been decided that this forum will be closed (along with the private Chelsea one). We will continue to allow posting for another week or so to allow anyone affected to apply for access to the main Soccer forum should they so wish. We will expediate any applications from posters here who wish to gain access to the Soccer forum, and will allow applications via PM if you have more than 10 posts in this forum without the need to go through the normal process (assuming not currently banned from the main forum) - it remains important though that applicants read the forum charter which may be unfamiliar if you have not posted there before

    Please do not discuss this decision here. If anyone wishes to raise any points please PM me. Equally it would be possible for posters to start a thread within Feedback, although we would not permit more than one such thread

    We held off finalising the closure of the forum pending the Open Feedback thread on Hosted forums. Our wider plans on the whole Hosted category and progressing and we will be closing the forum to new posts probably over the next day or so
