Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    What tennis balls do you folk play with? And where do you buy them? The Tretorn X are damn expensive from our normal channels.....

    My mum gets all my tennis balls, she generally gets Tretorn X or Wilson.

    We get 'em in Fitzwilliam, the guy in their shop is very helpful, knows his stuff and does good deals.

    I always get my raquets from him too.

    Dunlop Ti's are very good tennis balls. Hard to get in Ireland though, I used to buy them up north. They have a titanium core or something....they've got a low (but not too low) bounce and seem to perform the same in any weather condition.

    I tried some Pro Penns yesterday, and find them to be very heavy on the arm. Bit of a rock. They are very duable though, which suits my home tarmac court.
